A brief history of the Peugeot Expert

The Expert debuted in 1995 as a partnership between the French manufacturers and Fiat. The first generation was not as big as the current iteration with a payload of only 854kg max but could still fit six people in its passenger guise.

The second generation changed all that to make it into a large panel van with two heights and lengths. Three engines were available, all being 2.0 HDI diesel engines for maximum power and economy. This van led to Peugeot receiving the coveted Van of the Year award in 2008.

The third and current generation introduced completely new materials on the inside to make the van closer to the interior comforts you’d expect in their passenger vehicles to keep up with the competition who were doing the same. This generation continued with the trend of making it a large van and the biggest payload capacity seen in an Expert. Available as a six-seater minibus also.
